Is your glass half full or half empty? Either way, you’ll need more bourbon!
At Marker Nine, our bourbon’s gotta be Maker’s Mark to make it a MARKer Nine classic!
Signature Marker Nine Nor’Easter Cocktail Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 ½ oz. Maker’s Mark
1/2oz. fresh lime juice
1/2oz. maple syrup
splash of Ginger Beer
Directions: Combine the bourbon, lime juice and maple syrup in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake 10-12 times. Strain and pour over ice in a rocks glass, or a Tervis, or whatever cup you have handy. Add a splash of ginger beer on top and garnish with lime.
Maker’s Mark and Cola:
Ingredients:
1 -1/2 parts Maker’s Mark Bourbon
Your favorite cola
Lime wedge for garnish
Instructions: Fill rocks glass with ice, add Maker’s Mark Bourbon and top of with cola. For a twist, garnish with a lime wedge.
Maker’s Mark Collins:
Ingredients:
2 parts Maker’s Mark Bourbon
1 part fresh lemon juice
1TSP sugar
Club Soda
Maraschino cherry and orange slice for garnish
Instructions: In a shaker full of ice, add Maker’s Mark, fresh lemon juice and sugar. Shake well and strain into a Collins glass filled with fresh ice. Top with soda and garnish with orange slice and maraschino cherry.
Maker’s Mark Mojito:
Ingredients:
1-1/2 parts Maker’s Mark Bourbon
Fresh Mint
2 TBS simple syrup muddled with mint
Juice of two lime wedges
Splash DeKuyper Triple Sec Liqueur
Lime wedge for garnish
1C granulate sugar
1C distilled water
Instructions: For simple syrup, heat to dissolve sugar, stirring occasionally so the sugar does not burn. Set aside to cool. Mix all together and top off with a splash of DeKuyper Triple Sec Liqueur. Serve on the rocks in a tall glass rimmed with sugar. Garnish with a lime wedge.
Maker’s Mark Manhattan:
Ingredients:
1-1/2 parts Maker’s Mark Bourbon
½ park sweet vermouth
1TSP maraschino cherry juice
Maraschino cherry for garnish
Instructions: Combine all ingredients over ice. Stir. Strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry (served up, no ice).
Complete all drinks by wrapping a signature Marker Nine coozie around whatever glass or cup you have!
